Happy April Fools Day!
I know, I haven't blogged that much recently. Been busy workin' on
real (as in, pays the bills, but actually very stimulating and full of
fascinating challenges) stuff, and also increasing my involvement at
Apache a bit. We've been having an interesting debate on the role of
professional public relations in the open-source world, I'll blog more
about it one of these days. (The relevant mailing list where the
debate has taken place is private, so I can't simply link to it or
repeat its contents).
I'm in Indianapolis right now for the 2006 Final Four. It's so
exciting, full or energy! It seems everyone is a basketball fan, and I
can't wait to go into the games this evening. I'm here with my awesome
dad, as we continue the tradition began last year. Another topic I'll
blog more about, probably on the plane on the way back on Tuesday.
Also, in a link mostly for myself, most of the contents of the
"Economics of Open Content" conference that took place in town last
month are now freely available. I gotta check them out one of these
days.
Have a good weekend and fun April Fools Day ;)
